So this is it……a fresh approach to fitness in the city of Cranbrook.

Studies have shown that the long boring cardio so long associated with fitness is not the most efficient way to become fit….

And what is fitness?…….

Is fitness the ability to run marathons….to be built like Arnie [him of the Terminator fame]….to be able to pull off the Iron Cross [one of the most difficult of gymnastics moves]…or a combination of all of the above??

In my view, fitness can be defined as the ability to handle whatever lifes throws your way…..

And that is where Total Fitness comes into play

Working together with ourselves and each other, we will foster an approach that will redefine the way in which you work out….each workout will be different, there are no air conditioners, no mirrors and no egos….

I will be posting the workouts we do, with the odd photograph thrown in, on this site for others to see and use, if they so desire.

We will work outside, we will work inside….we will use everyday objects….we will use old school methods…..

what we will not use is fancy machines found in mirrored rooms……our bodies function as a whole unit and we will train it as such.

Feel Free to use the workouts we have posted on the website, however be advised that these workouts are supervised by trained personnel, with modifications made to each exercise and times, so that athletes of ALL fitness levels are catered for…from those who have never exercised before to those for whom workouts are a regular feature in their day to day lives.

If you do wish to use the workouts, be aware that there are workouts from our daily boot camps as well as workouts designed for our private clients with specific goals. Please ensure you are medically cleared for exercise before attempting any of the workouts contained within this website.
