After a warmup and mobilisation of the joints we kicked off with our 100 rep challenge [today was 20 Pushups, 20 X Body Mountain Climbers, 60 Squats]
And since this is a recovery week, we devoted some of the session towards skills and drills with the KB.
Skills Session:
- Rack Position of the KB
- KB Deadlifts [both 1 hand and 2 handed.]
- KB Clean [both 2 handed and 1 handed]
Workout: AMRAP in 10 minutes
- KB Clean 5R / 5L [or 10 if 2 handed Clean]
- 10 Burpees
- 10 Reverse Lunges [holding the KB in the Racked Position if wanted]
- KB Corkscrew 5R / 5L
Good little testing circuit to finish off with.
Each session this week will follow the same format, since this is a recovery week….so we will work on KB Snatch Pulls, Turkish Getups [with KB], 1 hand KB Swings, KB Presses and KB 1 Arm Rows throughout the week, with short workouts to embed the movements.
